As the most capable SUV in its class5, the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk® delivers off-road dominance with a Quadra-Lift® Air Suspension, Selec-Speed® Control and Quadra-Drive® II with a rear Electronic Limited-Slip Differential.
A matte black hood decal reduces the sun’s glare off the hood of the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk® so the driver can view obstacles more clearly.
The Trailhawk® features a 25.7° approach angle, 22.8° breakover angle, 27.1° departure angle and 10.8 inches of ground clearance when you adjust off-road settings.
Quadra-Drive® II is our most advanced 4x4 system. Standard on Grand Cherokee Trailhawk®, it delivers superior all-weather capability by transferring up to 100% of engine torque to a single wheel if needed.
Jeep® Grand Cherokee offers three available 4x4 systems—Quadra-Trac II® and Quadra-Drive® II. So if you just need to tackle rough weather or you’re the ultimate off-roader, Grand Cherokee can handle it.
Get legendary Jeep® vehicle capability with the available Selec-Terrain® traction control system, including five modes to tackle all kinds of wet and slushy weather conditions. Traction is also enhanced through the available Quadra-Trac II® or Quadra-Drive® 4x4 systems. Take it to another level with the available Quadra-Lift® air suspension system features five height settings for optimum ride performance.
This revolutionary system gives you ultimate control of your suspension by raising your vehicle's ground clearance up to a maximum of 10.8 inches higher. You can also lower it 1 inch for easy entry, exit and loading. The system will raise the vehicle from back to front to help keep headlights focused down on the road.
Quadra-Drive® II gives you excellent capability with its Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (ELSD), which transfers up to 100% of torque to the wheel(s), if needed, to help deliver year-round traction on wet or dry surfaces
Quadra-Trac II® offers all-speed traction control to help keep you on course. If wheel slippage occurs, torque can be routed to the axle with the most traction. Low-range helps provide rock-crawling prowess.
The 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine features integrated Start/Stop technology that helps provide Best-in-Class V6 Highway Driving Range+ and offers a range of over 600 highway miles on one tank at 26 highway mpg+.
The 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine with Fuel Saver Technology boasts 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque and provides a Best-in-Class Maximum Towing Capacity+ of 7,400 pounds
Eco Mode helps improve fuel economy by adjusting the transmission shift schedule, idle speed and interactive deceleration fuel shut off. In models equipped with a V8 engine, Eco Mode also adjusts Fuel Saver cylinder deactivation. Automatically engaged upon vehicle start up, Eco Mode activates the available Quadra-Lift® air suspension system and lowers the Jeep® Grand Cherokee when the vehicle’s speed exceeds 88 kph (55 mph). On 4WD models in 4H, the system alters the front-to-rear torque split to help increase fuel efficiency.
With this technology, included with the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine and 3.0L Multijet II Diesel, when the vehicle brakes to a stop, fuel flow is cut and the engine turns off. When the brakes are released, the engine restarts.
Grand Cherokee can tow a Best-in-Class maximum towing capacity+ of up to 7,400 pounds. The Trailer Sway Control+ (TSC) feature reduces trailer sway and improves handling in adverse towing conditions caused by crosswinds, traffic and improper weight distribution on the trailer. When an excessively swaying trailer is recognized by the system, TSC automatically kicks into action.
